I bought electronic hearing protection today at Gander. They were $29.95 and run on two AA batteries for 200 hours. When the sound levels exceed 85db they reduce it to NRR 27. Now I will see how long they last. That is a pretty low price for electronic. Cheaper Than Dirt has some for this same price range, but then you have to pay freight and wait.
