Forgot about having this. A friend gave it to me years ago.

It's not a reproduction, and still works great. I know some were made of brass, this one is steel. Were these WWI or WWII?

The one I saw had a brass cap to extinguish the flame, made of brass. No clue as to who made it. cap was held on the lighter by a small brass chain. Frank
 
I had a WWI lighter years ago but it was the "Slow Match" type and didn't require any fuel.
 
Here is a link to the history of the lighter, and they are on E-bay on sale.

Looking them on e-bay, I bought one of those when TDY in Turkey, more then likely a copy, but still a great lighter.
