I'm sick of bidding $1400.00 for 3" 547's on Gunbroker, and not even coming close to being the winner.

You already did all the R&D and figured out how to make it work, now build some more of them please (no locks).

Also, 9mm airweight J frames (no locks) please.

More options in the shrouded hammer J frames. How about an Sc version (with no lock)?

Does S&W ever look at what guns sell for the most $$ on the secondary market?
- 9mm Revolvers
- 3" bbl Revolvers

Yes, Yes, Yes!!!!!! Si, Si, Si!!!!! Hei, Hei, Hei !!! I'll buy one of each!

Keep Shootin'

In the past twenty years I have written S&W several times to bring back the 547, in stainless steel as well. Still waiting, sigh.

I finally snagged both 547's. Got one (the 4") the lucky way and had to pay for the other. I do have a no lock Sc 342PD, but once I put "The Plug" in my Hillary Holed 342PD it went a long way towards minimizing the embarrassment of ownership.

I bought a brand new 547 three inch back in the early 80's. I fired it 12 times (2 cylinders) and didn't like the feel so I put it back in the original box and still have it in the gun safe. I am wondering if the 4" square butt feels any better in my kinda large hands.

i know exactly how you feel, ive been in the same situation multiple times. i want one of these quite badly

Just lucked into a 3 inch RB 547. It is just a little dirty but no scratches and I would bet it will be 90% or better when I get it cleaned up. I can't wait to get it to the range.

A 547 would be fun even if it they cheesed out with making it moon clip only. But don't stop there, make a K frame .40 SW also. I know the 610 will do that but it's not a K frame. And I don't want it on the L frame either.
