Browning BAR Grade IV (1979) Engraved 7mm Rem Mag (unfired)

I called Browning and they told me Grade IV was the highest grade they offered in 1979 and also confirmed the year for me. I’ll never shoot it, it’s lived the second half of it’s life in my gun safe, came from a grandparent, and it's not really in my wheelhouse. I'm trying to free up some $ for a piece of land that came up for sale next to my house.

Description: Belgium made Browning BAR Grade IV by the Browning Arms Company of Morgan UT. This attractive rifle manufactured in 1979 is chambered in 7MM Remington Magnum. The French grey receiver is engraved with two moose in a wooded scene on the left side and two running elk on the right side. The scenes are flanked by floral scroll engraving with a matte background. The top of the receiver is factory drilled and tapped for scope/sight mounting. The 24″ blue barrel was manufactured without sights and has the standard markings. The hinged floor plate is engraved with a floral scroll design. Gold plated trigger and mounted with a high gloss, nicely figured walnut checkered forearm and flat bottom pistol grip stock with a black rubber Browning buttplate and sling swivel studs. The checkering has floral carved and dot bordering. This rifle is in excellent condition.(I copied most of this description from info gathered online, but should be accurate)

Hard to show how nice this rifle is just from pictures. Weather has been iffy around her the past week, but I can try to take better pictures over the weekend.

Unfortunately I never had or could find the original box.

Shoot me a PM with any questions. Thanks for looking.
Asking $4100 (LOWERED TO $3700) plus $75 shipping. That seems to be a good bit below the going rate for this rifle/caliber/condition but I'd rather sell it to an individual without the hassle of listing it on GB. References available from this forum if you'd like. Your FFL must be willing to accept a shipment from an individual (I'll provide a copy of my DL so they can log it in). I'm located in MS. The rifle will be packed EXTREMELY safe (gun sock, wrapped in tissue, bubble wrap, and inside a foam lined hard case). Payment via certified check or personal check if you want me to hold it till it clears.

Added the S&W Model 1 and lowered $ on the BAR:

Model 1 is SOLD- S&W Model 1 (Second edition?): 22 short- black powder. Serial #111072. Serial # grips match frame serial #.
Has this buried in a safe since I got it probably 22 years ago. It's not in my wheelhouse so I figured I'd pass it along to someone who would appreciate it. I don't know a ton about these models. Really Clean, action is tight and functions as it should, finish seems original. Cylinder/Barrel appears smooth and not pitted like some I've seen. More pics available upon request. Asking $750 plus $15 shipping.
I think the site reduced the size of the pics. If you want higher res, shoot me a PM and I can text them to you in a larger format.
