While searching for knives I keep running into this company. Just about as often I keep reading bad comments and some are downright nasty. What's up with these guys?

It's cool stuff I like it. Neat scary looking knives. I have a few of there knives. I have some lower end stuff. I'd like to try there higher end knives.
Made by a better manufacturer. Bill

I did buy a walking stick sold by "Bud K". And I'm very pleased with it. Made of (some fancy word for) plastic. It weighs about1 1/2-2 lbs and looks like Irish Blackthorn at a distance.

It works good as a walking stick and would make a decent SD weapon against mean stray dogs.

therevjay.....my gosh man, don't you realize that if you used that stick on some dog that someone would claim it was a rescue dog and meant no harm!!! ;) Peta and about half the folks on this forum (based on all the rescue dog threads) would want you "drawn and quartered". :D

Yeah you're probably right.....How about. I'd hit myself with it for annoying the dog?

Isn't BUDK the outfit that bought United Cutlery when they went under??? They sold all those Gil Hibben type fantasy knives but once in a while they would come up with a fairly decent knife...personally one of my all time favorite knives is the fixed blade Uzi Heavy Defender designed by Fred Carter. Some were even made in the USA and out of pretty decent steel 154CPM.

You could be right. I just glanced at their catalog, saw the fake Samurai swords for $19.95 and assumed it was all junk. I guess I'm living proof of the old saying about "assuming" things.

They cater to the ninja-Special Forces-SEALS wannabes a lot. "Take this (Pakistani-made) special forces black(-painted )tactical blade on your next mission for only $6.99!"

When they advertise a Sykes-Fairbairn "commando dagger" knockoff for $12.99 you can draw some conclusions about quality.
