There's two ways to look at this.
1. "Oh no, Bud's is gouging me, they shouldn't raise their prices on anything, ever, no matter what kind of insane circumstances might be happening in this country!"
or
2. "There is a large amount of speculative purchasing happening now. The fundamental capitalist forces of supply and demand have created a market where the demand far outstrips the available supply. Any seller offering <insert item> at "normal" retail prices will quickly have their entire stock bought out by people looking to flip <insert item> for a significant markup."
This is happening with complete AR-15s as well as BCGs, standard-capacity magazines, ammunition, as well as standard-capacity pistol magazines*.
This is how the free market operates. If a seller is offering <insert item> at a cost that you do not wish to pay, then do not buy it. If enough other people feel the price is too high, then the item will not sell and the seller will have to adjust their pricing accordingly. However, the rate at which firearms and their associated items are selling currently indicates that many people DO feel that the price is acceptable given the current circumstances.
*With the notable exception of 15-round 92fs/M9 magazines. I can't explain that. 15-round magazines for G19s are sold out everywhere.
