Good question? Why would it be non reloadable, maybe Federal bought some euro brass and loaded it.Ive seen Hornady do that with steel case 5.56.

Oh my, that's not very "green" of them...can't even recycle brass anymore; I can see the landfills now just waist deep in shell casings.
 
Sorry Moonman for the title of the thread. After looking at my words, I should have rephrased it.

"Buds has Federal Ammo".

Then went on to say it is case lots only for $15.50/box. Has anyone tried this and is it berdan primed?

I've been shooting Federal .45 on a lost brass range.. I noticed it looked like a small primer and I've seen Federal that does have a small primer but that is a standard small. Why would they go out of their way to make the brass non-reloadable?
