For any coin people, I have the opportunity to buy several Buffs, all different dates, all dates readable, for a buck each, around 60 coins. Am interested if this sounds like a fair deal. Thanks!

Check out e bay, sounds like a good price.

The last one's I bought were 50 cents each. That was back in the 90's
so probably a dollar is a good price. My brother and I use to buy the
ones with dates worn off to silver soldier onto spurs.

I remember when I was a boy, the buffs were the only nickels in circulation. Common as dirt. Seems strange to me that their value is more than five cents....

I found a well worn Buffalo nickel in my garage not long after I moved in last year. It might have been interesting had I found it in the yard somewhere, but my house was built in 2018. I am the second owner, maybe the previous owner was a coin collector ?

I collect old money, slow horses and fast women. And I love old buffalo nickels if for no other reason, they are so cool. Who was that guy that said "Buy land, they ain't making it no more" ...... So goes the Buffalo Nickel!

I love those things. I "had" hundreds at one time. Long since gone. I always thought these nickels were a bad design because they seemed more prone to wearing than other coins of the same vintage. So if your source says all dates are readable then you should be good to go. Also, if you find any that only have 3 legs on the buffalo, don't return them to get your dollar back. You may wanna hold on to those.
