Wow, the raw strength of that elephant!

Just goes to show that you don't mess with a Momma's baby and expect to get away with it without a fight.

There are all sorts of things waiting to kill you in Africa. The malaria carrying mosquito has killed millions.

Crocs as well as hippos kill a few every day along rivers.

Several VERY deadly snakes like the black mamba and a few of the Cobras.

Throw in a too old to hunt or injured lion or leopard and they will take a human if given the opportunity.

Hyenas and wild dogs, take the occasional human as well.

Lots to worry about , out in the African bush!

From what I have read I personally would not like to get on the bad side of either! Toss and stomp or gore and trample, both bad news.

Hippo kill more people than the big five you just cannot get between them and where they feel safe water during the day and bush in evening, natives are the vast majority of their victims.

A buffalo while no match for an elephant, is the toughest animal on a charge short of a vital shot brain or spine shot they come at you like they are bullet proof.

An elephant and the cats can usually be turned with an injuring non vital shot.

All that said an elephant is an awesome site charging they will come at you seeming silently crushing trees noiselessly as they collapse under their massive bodies.

A good friend growing up was from Rwanda. His uncle was drunk one night, leaving a bar. Uncle's bicycle was on the other side of a resting hippo, and in his drunken state, he decided to push and yell at the hippo to free the bike.

The hippo took his arm at the shoulder. Mr. Nsabimana now writes with his left hand.

Most "Big Five" African hunters back in the day will generally agree that the Cape Buffalo is the most dangerous game. Some have claimed that when wounded, the Buff will actually circle behind you in heavy cover with it's last thought to get you befor it passes. The Buffs generally try to avoid big bull's and Matriarch Elephants. The op's video posting was impressive though.
