Bul Armory 1911 Govt

I would be remiss if I didn't do a thread on my Bul.
For yall that don't know, Bul Armory is from Tel Aviv, Israel. They also make the 1911's for Magnum Research.
However, their Bul 1911's are better.
I've was just absolutely shocked when i first shot mine.
It reminded me of shooting my Sig X5 German MasterShop pistol from Germany. Youtube gun reviewer Honest Outlaw said his reminded him most out of all his guns to his Wilson Combat CQB.
Now, if I read this and someone said a sub $900 1911 shot and felt like a $3,000 1911, I probably wouldn't believe it. But guys, this pistol is amazing.
Amazing at what ya get for your money especially.
The machining is just excellent- the slide feels like it's on ball bearings....it's super easy to manipulate.
It's far and away the easiest to strip and put back together. I like it better than my Dan Wesson Specialist just to be totally honest. I think the Bul may have a total of 3 MIM parts. Can't remember what they are though. The trigger is perfection. Absolutely NO CREEP. Mine breaks very consistently at 2.9 pounds. The pistol was just dead nutz on outta the box. Honestly, I've often wondered if I just got lucky with the pistol I got and that maybe not every Bul is like that. But, then again, I remember what Honest Outlaw said about his shooting just like his Wilson Combat .
Now, the days of getting one for $930 delivered are over unless you can find one still out there. This year's models have went up in price. But imo, they're still worth more than the price hike. They now run $1350
At any rate, if you want a 1911 that you really don't have to do anything to after signing for it, then Bul Armory would be a great choice.

They are well made 1911's and I'm sure that heavy, bull barrel that eliminates the barrel bushing contributes to accuracy.

One of the local shops got a few of them in some time back. I handled two of them at the shop and found them to be very well constructed. I wish I had purchased the 9mm Commander size when I had the chance. One of the employees purchased a 5" .45 and he loves it.
