Why don't one of you mechanical engineers design a bullet sharpener? You know......one to re-sharpen all BTSP's you drop out of your pocket or eject onto the concrete at the range? That's right....the ones that look like home-made flat points!

Why hasn't someone come up with something other than a fingernai file, to re-shape the tips on bullets that aren't bad out off "centricity" ?

A pencil sharpener type device? How many people would need or use some thing like that?
No demand=no tooling.
You could use a lathe but I wouldn't.....
Giving them to a reloading buddy, might be the best thing to do.

OK!

Have you tried the basic plastic, single blade school pencil sharpener? It's in the school suppies department at the big box store for about $1. Basic engineering solution -- buy whats on the shelf.

Lee deburring tool, costs about 3 bucks. Looks like a thimble at a quick glance.

Wow, I didn't think you guys would take this so "literally". I fugured it would be a more "Yeah, me too. I hate it when I drop one of my $3.00 Federal Premium 300 RUM rounds on the concrete" ! Just being sinical, but thanks for the leads just the same.
