Has anyone used one of these sights before on the 15-22? Im not looking for a sight to go to battle with....thats what the 5.56 is for. Just looking for a cool looking decent priced sight.

i used one on my 15-22, it was just quickly sighted in, my friend owns one so i was just testing it out, works well, even in direct sunlight you can still see the red circle, the only problem is they dont make them anymore, but for a new one at $200 you really cant beat it, and they are made by eotech

N batteries are alkaline batteries, a little smaller than the CR123 lithium batteries, they are used in some brands of digital cameras and such. I haven't found them to be as common as AA alkalines or the lithium CR123's. However, Wal-Mart and Radio Shacks should carry them if you have any in your area.

I borrowed the Eotech off of my 5.56 MP15 and put it on my MP 15-22 and it added a whole new level of fun to shooting the MP 15-22. It seems like the recticle in the Bushnells were different that the Eotechs though, however I can't really remember as it has been a long time since I have seen one of the Bushnells in person. I think it was the battery type that caused me to spend the extra bucks for the Eotech, as there are AA, CR123 and N battery versions of them.

I have a Bushnell Holosight on my 15-22 at the moment. I really like it but I'm going with glass for my old eyes. I bought 4 2-packs of N batteries on sale at Radio Shack a few months ago for $12
