But it can buy me a boat, it can buy me a truck to pull it....maybe so.

You might be a Rudnick if the motor on your fishing boat has more horsepower than the truck you use to pull it. Jeff Foxworthy

"Money can't buy you happiness, but it can buy you a yacht big enough to pull up right alongside it."

I'm not a big fan of some of the lyrics in the song, but it is an awful catchy tune. I suppose that is the way it was meant to be. :)

I guess I just "need" to get a boat and I heard this song at a retail store and it was catchy. With family stuff going on, I'd say a boat is a ways off for the time bein'.

Reminds me of my youngest son...bought a really nice boat, then had to buy a bigger truck to haul it around with. Good family boat, though, and he and my grandkids spend most of the summer on it...good clean fun, grandkids could give dolphins a run for their money in the water ... At 2 1/2 and 9 years of age. How many kids today have actually explored riverside and seen beavers building dams? When you throw in our two camps, I have hope for the next generation!!

Best Regards, Les

My youngest son dislikes country but on his job last year
the guy who drove to the field in the morning controlled the radio
and played country.
My son came home last fall and said, "I shouldn't like that song,
but I kinda do..."
