buy/Project/polish gun

I really want to buy this gun but if i buy it then i want to polish it like i do most of my other guns.

My questions are,first should i buy it(450.00),and if i buy it and i polish the sides like i want will the lettering come off(i don't like the lettering and don't want it).

If i buy it and work it over,this is what i want it to look like.

I'm pretty sure the lettering is laser engraved. The ones I have with similar lettering will fade with polishing, but it would take a LOT of work to make them go completely.

Hand polishing, for the most part, will NOT remove the lettering but will give a very nice finish. A buffer and stainless polish, $5-$6 on e-bay will remove it.

That appears to be an extremely scarce, and VERY desireable, rail free 4566TSW.
