Buying ammo online

Same here. I buy a lot through TS and have never heard of a paid membership.

Is it possible that he's thinking about Sportsman's Guide? They have a paid membership where they knock another 5% or so off their ammo.

Nope. Target Sports has a Prime Ammo membership.

Always free shipping, lower prices, and they send you a couple of boxes of ammo in a "goodie bag" type deal once a year.

Ammo Prime Membership Program at Target Sports USA

Once you have paid membership, the prices get way cheaper. I got American eagle 44 mag for $23 a box. Just ordered Hornady self defense. 357 for $9 a box.
And there is a gun on there I want that is $100 cheaper than anywhere else.

What is nice now, is I can just order a couple boxes of what I need each week, free shipping, and half of what I use to pay at Walmart.

Buying in bulk gets the free shipping. I'm curious about the bulk prime membership prices now. These 357's in bulk cost me 172.80 for 500rds with free shipping and 2 or 3 bucks insurance. I cannot see the member price list. Can a prime member post what their cost would be on these particular rounds? Is purchasing several bulk cases a year with the 95$ prime membership worth it?

Buying Ammo Online

Never liked the idea of paying a membership fee to buy stuff since I'm the customer and the vendor should be happy to get my sales revenue.

I buy from Natchez online. They don't charge fees and have great prices and service.

Just my two cents worth...

$158.00, so not much saving over bulk. But where it's worth it is, instead of having to buy 500 rounds of one kind of ammo, you can mix and match a few boxes of this and a few boxes of that and you get it cheaper and free shipping. That way you can try different loads , different brands etc. And dont have to fork out as much money all at once

Just checked nanchez, 500 rnds is $ 197.90 plus $20.44 shipping.
Looks like your two cent ego going to cost you $60. On one order. Your member ship would pay for itself and save you $25 by 2nd order

Thanks Ribwiz..... looks like I'd probably break even either way.... now what about that free goodie bag??and other perks????

Considering you're kinda locked into buying TSUSA...shotgun shells this fall wing season are nonexistent... at target sports

I just joined, so haven't got goody bag yet. I've been buying from them about two years now and just noticed the membership option. That's the reason for my post

They should show the member prices so you can see how much can be saved like Sportsman's Guide does. How can you tell what the savings will be if they only show the member prices After you pay them $95?

TargetSportsUSA's membership may be good or bad...

...depending on the situation, but I joined today. The benefits were immediate as I bought 4 boxes of "Federal Law Enforcement Tactical Bonded 9mm Luger Ammo 135 Grain +P Hollow Point-Box of 50" for $2.50/box less than regular price and with free shipping...both of which are good but certainly not big deals.

BUT....................I discovered the above ammo that I didn't know existed. It's Federal product #LE9T5 and it's been ballistic-gelatin tested here...Premium 9mm Ammo For Sale - +P 135 Grain HP Ammunition in Stock by Federal LE Tactical Bonded - 50 Rounds
...and looks quite good. Seems to be another excellent Federal load that's discontinued, along with #P9HST4, Federal Premium HST 9mm 147 Grain +P JHP which I've expansion tested myself--with HIGHLY satisfactory results...

...and is now priced at $40/box (!) at the only stockist in the US that I can find...
Search - Ammunition Depot
Good thing I bought bought 2K of that.
