With the 115gr and the 124gr plated in the bag it was just a matter
of getting the 124gr Speer Gold Dots on paper for their finals.
I already had the little 115gr GD set at 1208 fps for the best loading
with the fps all logged it was just a matter of a final outing with
three loads that were the best of the loads I have tested. Just
making sure the tight groups were not a fluke and this trip was
without a lot of coffee and at 1pm...........

They were all good but the lighter loads were a lot quicker back on target,
so I will go with the "Factory" type fps instead of the NATO load for the little 3.5" pistol.

Another reason for the slower loads is that I have fired 68 loads of Gold Dots without any problems
in feeding or extraction but today I got my 1st FTE with the Hi-Vel loading, for some odd reason, with federal cases.

I also sighted in my 22 pump today..........
a frigging ground squirrel has open up a new hole in my lawn that I filled with rocks!! Can't wait for just one crack at it.

Here is my last test on paper for this pistol.
Now it is just load and shoot time for the family. More Ammo!!

Nice Ed. Thanks for putting the distance the groups were shot at. Seams trhat is one of my pet peeves on this forum. Yep nice group now do I see any powder burns on the paper kind of thing. Group size doesn't mean a thing with out the distance shot at. I like your third group as it shows as many right as left and high as low but is still tight.Group one is much the same way. Don

Thanks for the replies.......

I always like to try and match the Factory Loads in fps and then
test for accuracy, just in case we can't get ammo from them for
some reason................

Enough with the FULL loads now.........
Loading up a lot of Lite target for the summer outings into the
field and at the range that has a cover (roof) for shade, even
though it is made of metal decking. Ear muffs please.......

Everyone stay safe.

Yes time to enjoy the AC at the indoor range. Just wish the longest range was more then 20yds. Even 25 would have given a more standard pistol target range. Don
