I dropped by my favorite :LGS-Range today and the six referendum petitions are now out there. I signed all six of course. If this is successful it will give the PEOPLE the ability to overturn the legislative action on these most recent six attacks on honest, law-abiding gun owners in the formerly great state of California. It is my understanding that these petitions have been mailed to pretty much every gun store and range in the state. Please drop by your favorite LGS and-or range in the next couple of weeks, inquire if they are not obvious (there were REAL obvious where I dropped in today) and sign them. Real people can still make a difference in CA thanks to a robust and long-standing initiative and referendum process. Make your voice heard. Decisions are made by those who show up.

Please tell anyone you know who is a registered voter in California to sign the petitions

And we failed. Really pisses me off that California has 8 mil gun owners and we got less than 150.000 signatures per petition. Problem is majority of these so called gun owners probably have 1 rifle or a gun stashed away somewhere and don't even know current gun laws. Not really gun owners, just people who own a firearm or two. How do we reach these type of people and educate them?

Seems to me there is something on the inter net like a electronic form. Not sure but maybe worth a look..

You don't, they are the same ones the pull the lever for the liberal democrats that are in office.

I'm from Missouri & I feel so sorry for you folks who live in anti-gun states. it is like you are 2nd class citizens who must prove that you are trustworthy to your rulers in your state and city governments, before you are allowed to enjoy the same rights as the citizens of the vast majority of states enjoy.

Good luck in getting your bad laws repealed guys.

We just won Constitutional no CCW permits needed this last month, with both our state Senate & House voting to over ride our governor's veto of the bill authorizing it. I was very worried because of the threats made by groups to disrupt the GOP convention and against peace officers back east this summer, but they failed to materialize thankfully.
