cabelas cancelled my magazine order (after many postponements)

Got this in the mail today, no magazines for me (I ordered January 5th):

Cabela's Inc.

One Cabela Drive, Sidney, NE 69160

Dear Customer,

We regret to inform you that we are still unable to supply the merchandise you
requested and now find it necessary to cancel the back-ordered item(s) listed
below.

23-0384 MP15-22 25RD PER3 MP15-22 MAG 25RDPER3


Please do not hesitate to call us at 1-800-237-4444 should you require
additional information or if we can provide assistance in choosing a suitable
substitute.

If your original order was paid for with a credit card, no charges will be made
for the cancelled item(s). If your order was paid for with a check or money
order, a refund check will be issued.

well tactical advantage cancelled my magazine order because
its their company policy not to sell to legally authorized people
in il.
they say its cause we have a mag ban here , well its only in
cook county not the rest of the state but they dont care soooo..
gfy tactical advantage--
 
Keep watching Tactical Vantage. They have some mags available every now and then and they are really good to deal with. I have ordered four times from them and they have been great at shipping the stuff out. I now have a lifetime supply of mags. And I have used several without any flaws.

Rick,
Why not order some 10 round versions when they are available and convert them. It only takes a few minutes. Don't give up on them so quickly, especially since these mags are getting scarce.

Their shipping charges are WAY out of line. I'd have more respect for them if they bumped the price of the magazines and charged close to actual shipping rates.
 
I have a 3 pack on backorder with Cabelas also, so I might be getting one of those too. Not a big deal, I just got 5 10 round longs from S&W, so that will cover my reserves. But I also got an email that required a response within 30 days in order to keep the mags on backorder or else they would cancel. The last email projected that they would arrive in December of 13. Did you respond to that email?

I got an email like that for an ammo order I had placed. I did end up getting my ammo order.
 
That sux! I've had 840 rounds of 5.56 xm855 back ordered since November. Still waiting on one of these letters
 
I'm wrong, ordered them from Brownells. Got em shipped and everything for $320, well, in theory

these were for colt 5.56 20 rndrs
but it would apply to the .22 mags also
i still maintain they can foad!

I did.. hope you dont get it cancelled and that magazines come back at some point. I have a few so it's not horrible, but now I will be on the lookout for a few more
 
I contacted Cabelas and they said that my mags are still on backorder. Did you get a response when you replied to their request? I kept replying until they responded so I would have some ammo if they did try and cancel it.
 
I got my monthly email saying that the Bulk Pack Federal ammo ordered back in December is pushed back another month.
I can wait.
 
I am waiting on my .22 Federal order since end of December , next shipping date is April 25
