A couple months ago cabelas listed a triple lock in .44 and a 5 screw pre-29 for 1500 and 1200 respectively. They didn’t last long. Then another one has several pre-29’s listed at 3500-5000 and they are still there.I mean. do people literally walk into a Cabela's with a Triple-Lock and trade it in?
It seems like I read somewhere that Cabela's and other like them, go to gun shows and lowball walk-in buyers.
It just seems really odd to me that a large retailer would even have antique and curio guns sold to the public for liability reasons if nothing else.
Their pricing varies wildly but good deals are there to be had if you check the site frequently.
