When (note I did not use "if") your new bride does something wrong or not to your liking or standards gently point out to her what she did incorrectly and how it should be done. Explain to her how your mother did it and she should start with that. She will greatly appreciate your input and your marriage will be off to a good solid start.. Trust me on this one

Clearly, there is better advice. I tell men this all the time.

DON'T SAY ANYTHING!!!!

Not just to the obvious things as my colleague at the bar has pointed out, but to just about ANYTHING. Don't say anything. You'll do well to remember that.
