Feinstein's webpage is full of misrepresentations. For example, under the section on the effectiveness of the 1994 ban she misquotes the Roth & Koper report:
"In a Department of Justice study (pdf), Jeffrey Roth and Christopher Koper find that the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban was responsible for a 6.7 percent decrease in total gun murders, holding all other factors equal."
She does not acknowledge the very next sentence in the report:
"However, the evidence is not strong enough for us to conclude that there was any meaningful effect (i.e., that the effect was different from zero)."
Has she fed her garbage to Californians so long that they believe it? I am asking that some sane people from CA call her out on the misrepresentations. I wrote her myself, but she doesn't respond to out of state citizens.
