Calling any chopper riders, should I buy this ???

....$12,000????.....then sell it for a profit???
Times are tight out this way, I doubt the market is that robust for a custom chopper in my area....

...and figure out o'that, you can probably afford to pay for the hemorrhoid cream, the hernia belt, maybe the lumbar surgery....what's left probably won't cover the divorce....but yeah, it IS nice to look at....

I second that, and I have a Sporty! Nice work, shovelwrench.

Like a lot of people have said hard tails aren't for touring but with the big tire and the sprung seat your going to be comfortable for some 50 mile or so trips. As far as not having anyplace for mama well if she wants the experience maybe you can get you a second bike for both of you. I say buy it, riding choppers was a big thrill for me, and I hope to build another in the future. Have fun and be safe. Larry

+1 Or check out Triumphs. The retro Bonneville is pretty sweet.

Shoo; tell me you're not planning to ride this thing. You wife will be working over your spine with one or more of those fine hammers you sell every time you ride it. If you just want to have it in your garage, or roll it out on the driveway to Pose with it, then fine. If you want to ride, there are many other better bikes; Honda, Suzuki, Ducatti, et al and then my personal favorite; BMW. Currently riding a K1200 GT, but I've owned many and was never disapointed.

...one of Jesse James $100,000+ choppers came up on a Barrett Jackson auction a while back...only brought $15,000 or so...I think the bottom has fallin' out of the chopper market...

It's a beautiful bike for lookin' at Shoo!
Take it from someone once young and immortal enough to do a 96" XLCH hardtail Chicago to Sturgis!

Hadn't finished selecting what curve you wanted to run on the single fire, Eh Shovel? That's an EXTREMELY pretty Skirtster! (JOKE!)

Looks great,, but you'd better buy a lot of ketchup and hot sauce with it..I'd say you'll wind up eating it,, after you recouperate....

Sold my FLH a couple years ago, my back couldn't deal with the jarring anymore. A hardtail for me would end with a trip to my orthopaedic surgeon. Getting old sucks!

Gotta' love that Pan!
Sadly, got rid of all of mine a couple of years ago. My left leg couldn't be counted on any longer to be able to hold them up? I guess I could have gone to a side hack or trike, but it just wouldn't have been the same?
