Can revolvers take Heinie straight eight sights?

Not without knowledgeable modification to the revolver and the sights. Revolver would have to be milled for dove cuts, and the sights shaped and fitted.

To be done properly takes a pro's tools and skills, and an artist's touch.

You can accomplish the same thing by using a Dremmel with a ball end cutter to place a very small round depression on each of the front and rear sights so they line up as a Straight 8. There are some luminescent paints that can be used to fill in the little depressions. I do like that sight picture.

Never even heard of "straight eight" other than engines so I googled it. Catchy name for the old "dot over dot" sights.
