It almost seems trivial to mention when one thinks of the terrible news about Abbie, but 3/8/1899 was his birthday. It is hard for me to think he would be 110 years old, but then, I am not as young as I used to be.

Happy belated birthday to old Elmer! Hope someone remembered to throw him a fresh cee-gar.

My dad would have been 98 today. I learned more from him than from old Elmer.
