Can You Believe This Salmon BLT Sandwich?!!!

I couldn't believe this BLT my wife ordered at our favorite restuarant/brewery. It a Salmon BLT. with grilled wild salmon, applewood bacon with tomato aioli sauce. We figured it would be a thin piece of salmon in there, not a whole filet. And the salmon was juicy throughout. Unbelievable! I had my usual "pastrami cures salmon Rueben" but will go for the BLT next time. $9.95 each with choice of salad.

The Salmon Rueben is my current favorite thing to eat. It even tastes better at home if it's heated in the toaster oven with an extra piece of swiss on it. but that BLT is just as good. This place, the Auburn Alehouse in auburn, Ca. also makes a $13 bowl of macaroni and cheese. I always see someone having that. But I'll stick with these sandwiches for a while.

I first had a salmon BLT at a hotel restaurant in Franklin,TN some 5-6 years ago...very good, but not put together quite as nice as yours!
