I'm trying to find out who makes or made this holster. It is currently carried by the Miami Dade County Honor Guard members. I tried contacting them, but they have not returned my call. The only info I have received is that they are no longer made unless special order. Any help would be greatly appreciated. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1345607411.200786.jpg

Looks like a Jorden style holster to me....Hard to tell from picture...Both S.D. Meyers and El Paso Saddelery made copies of the Jorden border patrol holster.....In the old days you could purchase either the exposed trigger gaurd and the covered trigger gaurd version..Very popular in the 60's and 70's.....Of course Jorden's book " No Second Place Winners" Didn't hurt sales,,,The present powers would have a heart attach even reading the book today...

I was thinking that. It is a swivel style with a snap to lock it into place. If you look below the bullets on the right side you can see the snap.

The Tex Shoemaker # 50 swivel Jordan holster is close but without the cartridge holder. I would imagine they would make one on request.

Almost all of the bigger names in the holster biz were copying that Jordan style police rig at one time or another for awhile, so it's hard to pin down exactly who made that particular one from the photo provided.

If you take a look at forum member robbt's For Sale thread where he has dozens of vintage holsters with photos listed, you'll see a couple like that one with cartridge loops at the top. Might help you narrow it down.

It's not a bianchi holster. It has a 6 round loop loader on the top of the holster. It Aldo swivels and has a snap to secure it into place.

Could also be a don hume. Thats where I got my jordan river rig and belt many years ago. Mine was more of a high rise. I miss it. It got stolen out of my truck.
