Absent Comrade
Saw a sad state of affairs at Greenville's Academy Sports today.
What used to be a whole aisle of ammo was down to a couple of small piles of 7.62, and cardboard cutouts as placeholders on a single row of empty shelves.
Instead of a row of firearm display cases, they were mostly filled with paraphernalia, and one case had more cardboard cutouts of firearm manufacturers.
They did have 2 Rossi 22LR rifles and 8 pistols, widely spaced on two shelves. Hopefully whoever buys one already has ammo.
Nearby, Palmetto State Armory skipped the cutouts and had mostly empty ammo shelves, some .40 and a few esoteric calibers.
They had a 1-box limit on all calibers, and $39.99 Czech 9mm.
And a few firearms choices.
