I have never shown this knife, but thought I would post it here on my favorite forum. I purchased this knife from a guy needing money back in 1970. IIRC, I gave him a $20 bill for it. From what I understand, it is a Model 561 DeLuxe, and I believe this one was manufactured between 1965-1969. Both the knife blade and hatchet blade are marked "CASE XX" with "U.S.A." as the second line. That's it except for the patent date on the locking lever, which is "PAT. OCT. 22, 1935", which all of them ever manufactured had stamped.
While this one is not mint, it is in very nice condition. Other than the above info, I don't know anything else about it. Not sure what it might be worth, but I would suspect somewhere North of $500. If anyone has additional historical information about this knife or a better estimate of value, it would be much appreciated.
