SASABERANGER
SWCA Member, Absent Comrade
Got up there to set up just after the wacko did in his dad with a bow and arrow and finished it and himself with a hunting knife.
He drove all the way from the middle of CT back to Casper. Got his Dad's girlfriend first then the dad and himself...saved Wyoming millions in legal and incarceration costs.
At any rate we were getting things organized for the show.
Lots of lookers, sight seers and guys that shiould not be anywhere near fire arms.
Lost our collective butts in expenses, but did well for IBSandy's widow.
Crowd was very good, but not much moving except for inexpensive revolvers and short shotguns, mostly on paper.
I am still kicking myself for walking by the buy of the show and not jumping on it.
S prefix 4" M29-2 in the black box (which needed some of Joe Cebull's TLC). Wearing mustang rubber grips and had some blue loss on the high points from a holster...Cost $650 out the door. Lasted until Saturday AM.
20-20 hindsight.
Finally beginning to see some stuff come through the door besides black rifles. But as usual if I am looking for a revolver everybody has autos to trade or sell, or if I want an auto they have shotguns.
And as Iggy would say "That is the way it was out on the High Lonesome."
