Picked up a box of stuff at the LGS today. In the box was a catalog for the Shooter's Depot in Hialeah, Florida. It is mostly for the M1911, IPSC Shooting and reloading. The Price List included was dated January 1, 1988. Talk about a trip down Memory Lane! Wish the prices were still good!

Still have the 1st gun mag I ever purchased: GUNS of August (IIRC) 1964. Those Ye Olde Hunter ads from Interarms were a trip. Many rifles and pistols for $25 or so. The descriptions were often humorous: Colt New Service .455: "the revolver that made the most desperate desperado cringe in fear." Soviet semi-auto rifle: "Price so low even Nikita may want one."
