A "heads up" on Upton---
I'd watched him on YT and thought he was awesome. Last year we found that he was coming close to me (performing in Forest City NC) and my wife and I got tickets with another couple we socialize with. He started out on a good note, but unlike his videos (at least the ones I'd seen) he actually got a bit liberal and anti-gun... I tuned him out after the first one and regretted buying tickets.
I can't recall exactly how he got on the subject(s) (and I hope to avoid crossing the line on politics) but he was talking about rainbow flags and men wearing jewelry, THEN turned it around that guns/AR 15s were the "flaming" jewelry that Trump flag flyers wore, and NOT in a positive way. I chuckled at the first line, but he kept driving it home and I tuned him out. I heard several groans and moans from the rest of the audience, even though some still laughed. He sensed some in the audience were turning on him, and he kept doubling down, asking us to "admit" he was right.
Sorry to rain on it, but that was my experience.
