CBS cancels Vegas

I think they canceled it because of the glaring mistake of having Dennis Quaid's character use a Colt Detective Special with the much later ejector shroud under the barrel. BTW. Quaid played the most historically correct Doc Holliday ever. And he got to be with Meg Ryan before she made her lips look like the Joker's on Batman.

Sorry to hear that they cancelled Vegas. Sometimes it takes about 2 seasons for a new series to take hold. I thought it was ok even if they showed the same cars and Vegas shots over and over.

I actually met Johnny Rizzo..

a few weeks ago. Came into the hardware store where I work looking for a replacement DeWalt battery. Really nice guy, sorry they killed him off, but I guess it doesn't matter anymore.

I liked it too and am sorry to see it go. I did cringe, however, when he did the old wrist snap and slammed that old pistol's cylinder shut in one episode. I know it was for dramatic effect but I bet the real owner wasn't happy.

They needed some more good looking women. Had some real duds and average ones. Rizzo's daughter was the primary exception.

The show was nothing like the more modern setting and plots of the Vegas that starred the late Robert Urich, who also played Robert B. Parker's famous PI, Spenser.

I liked the show and will miss it. It was better than most today. They'll probably replace it with a silly reality or talent program.

I liked it pretty much and did watch it. Thought it had potential, but just couldn't quite get there. Maybe with another season they could have found their groove. I guess now we'll never know.

I didn't see it every week but the episodes I saw I liked. I guess it
will be replaced with another reality show. Something we really need
like a cooking show or another sing your way to the top show, yeah right!!!

Maybe a cable/satelite network will keep it alive. I liked it, which is the kiss of death to a TV show. At least 'Body of Proof' ended it's run last night by taking care of some loose ends. Not the best acting or stories, but Dana Delaney, at 57, is still a cutie. Adding Mark Valley was the last nail in their coffin - he seems to kill shows, despite being a decent actor (His lead in the FOX's 'Keen Eddie' was great.).

I've discovered a reality show of sorts that I can identify with... TruTV's 'Impractical Jokers'! Four NYers, actually with college degrees, who enjoy tricking each other... on camera and in public. My wife says I must watch it - in fourteen years of marriage she had never heard me laugh so hard. It's on DIRECTV channel 246 - several in a row Friday night. At least set your DVR. It has to take place in NYC & Brooklyn (My birthplace.)... no one in Alabama, a shall issue CCL state, would put up with a lot of their shenanigans - everybody is packing here. Try to legally carry in NY, however. NYers accept kooky behaviour as 'normal'.

Sorry about 'Vegas'... Rizzo's daughter, Sarah Jones, is cute!

It seems to me that his brother, Randy, said that in 'Independence Day', too! Okay... that was a stretch.

I liked it too. But to many people watch those stupid stupid stupid reality shows. Who cares about the Real Housewives of what ever.

A real Housewife to me was my mother stayed home took care of three kids made breakfast lunch and dinner everyday. Kept the house clean and didn't ask for anything didn't complain and just did what she had to do. She kept us boys out of trouble and in clean clothes. That is a REAL HOUSEWIFE... And a GREAT MOTHER... Not some over inflated superficial 50 year old woman who is still trying to hold on to 23.

Sorry for that rant I absolutely hate stupid reality shows.

Sorry to see Vegas go. They left some loose ends what with the DA in a coma and the Deputy asking for Rizzo's daughter's hand at the same the naked dude walked into the room.
