CCW Map?

Ok guys, so I live in a certain midwest state that starts with an I and ends with OWA. Got my permit and was wondering if anyone has looked up what other states allow you to carry with your states permit. Iv looked up a couple different maps, one from a gun website and the other was Cabelas. I trust the Cabelas website because they are such a large named company, I feel like they are very trustworthy. According to the map, most states accept my permit, excluding MN, IL, CA, NV, NM, OR, and a few eastern seaboard States.

Look up "Conceal and Carry Reciprocity Map". You can info on any state.

NRA has a very informative reciprocity map. Check it out at

They are a great organization that every gun owner should at least consider joining.

The NRA sight is not up to date.. ohio now accepts PA'S ccw permit. the NRA site says that it does not

We PU/Deliver vehicles for a local auto dealer and cross surrounding borders frequently. It is nice and handy especially to know when you are required to inform an officer you are carrying. I have and use CCW - Concealed Carry 50 States. I hear "Legal heat" is good too.

What really irks me about the NRA is all the "freebies" the offer for re-upping membership are made in CHINA!!!!

USAcarry.com is another site with reciprocity maps and more up to date than the NRA site.

Regardless of what site you use, if you plan on traveling to another state, check that states own information to ensure you get the most up to date information. Current reciprocity information can usually be found on the state's attorney general website, or on the state police website. The attorney general site may also have any legal interpretations and letters that better define concealed carry limitations in the state.
