for 2 days along with Matt Drudge's page and Breitbart who I never read. Now I am not a conspiracy theorist and it finally came back up today but I am now wondering when censorship like this will be come the norm from larger internet providers and crises such as illegal immigration become more relevant.

As interesting to note that they are the main internet provider for several air force bases through out the region and yes I too have seen the governmental buses that they are using to transport diseased illegals from one end of our country to another.

One stance I use to think about and admit I am wrong on is your love for the AR platform and am proud to say that I will soon be piecing together my own custom AR soon. I can honestly say I have changed and have seen the light. Make your voices heard loud and strong this fall, these elections are so important to the very survival of our constitution and the continuation of those rights.

Post script, this relates to censorship of gun rights and gun control (specifically a large internet communication company blocking a gun ownership forum). If it breaks any rules then the appropriate moderator can modify and/ or delete it.

We really have no idea of what is really happening in our world. The information we get is so tightly controlled Goebbell's would be proud. The effects of this are already showing.

I did my home work, I called the provider and yes a Hispanic person who could barely speak English answered the phone. They knew dang well what sites they blocked and what agenda they were protecting. I did not even have to tell her the sites and whether or not this was government ordered or a mistake on their part? I have no idea but I do know that I could access it off of my LTE network, I also know for a fact that it was their firewall that was blocking the sites as I went into the modem settings and read the block logs, and I also ran a skip trace on the domain names for this site and drudgereport which are not the same. So, that means they blocked those sites with the intention of not being able to access them off their network.

Censorship is never a good thing and something I thought I would never see here. These are scary times, our nation faces.

I have CenturyLink and have never had a problem.

Are you using the heavy duty tinfoil or regular thickness? Did you know that the word "conspiracy" spelled backwards uses the exact same letters.

Finally,What does this thread have to do with 2nd Amendment rights or the best recipe for marijuana brownies?

funny people in Kansas had the same problem and they were blocking a gun forum, this one specifically. Guess your proximity to Texas might not have been close enough for the tin foils or 500 dollar bowls.

Oh and you have Qwest aka reacquired CenturyLink. You might want to a little research as to the last hold out company to comply with the feds fair reaching wire tapping law.

S&W Forum was blocked for me also for a couple of days...

My provider? Century Link...

I'm now doubling up my aluminum foil and checking the hat for leaks!

I have Century Link in Minnesota, and I hate 'em. But they have never blocked this forum or any other, to my knowledge. I think I hear the crinkling of tinfoil, too.

I recently stayed in a hotel whose internet (WiFi) service blocked all of the gun forums. I complained to no avail of course and won't stay there again. But.....they don't care at all about that. My suspicion is that the provider was imposing their will on the customer. The hotel may have selcted this option or just been oblivious. No one could/would give an answer.

On Century Link at this moment. How do you have your settings??

Are you at home or is it blocked at some business or company?

The Glock site is blocked here:D

Tried to use wifi during an unfortunate hospital stay for several days. Hospital's wifi blocked ALL firearms related sites!

I have Century Link here without blocking that I'm aware of - I'm on here daily. I don't find CL to be a great service provider - that might be your problem - just poor service. Or it could be regional - I would complain loudly if it were me - seems like that is the only thing that works with them. Number of times I've told them I not paying this months billing for services not provided.

I would move to someone else in a minute if I had an option to do so.

I have Century Link as my ISP, and never had a problem getting to any firearms website.

I'll score one for the good guys. I once checked the progress of a BrokeGunner auction from the "business center" of a hotel next to London's Gatwick airport. Take that, hoplophobic Britain.

Two days ago I could not access the forum. I tried numerous times no ,luck about 40 hours after first attempt the Forum came back on-line. At first I thought it was my outdated operating system...This is the second time...Anybody have the same problem??...I would get a popup that said can't find... smith-wessonforum.com.....Inquiring mind would like to know. OK half a mind would like to know.

I recall seeing a popup here a few days ago saying that the forum was temporarily closed for maintenance. Not an unusual occurrence for web sites.

The Corpus Christi Public Library system constantly blocks (untill I make a request or complaint) sites involving guns, war, westerns, american heroes like Davy Crockett and such. I have to make a special request to the head librarian at the library to send a request to the systems Nerd to clear this up. Their filters are set too sensetive I guess? Anyway, it usually takes a day to a week, to get a site I want--unblocked. It took 2 days to have this one unblocked.
