i got into cerakote as a vacation project and have done three of my pistols and kind of ran out of things to work on, so i decided to buy a less expensive gun to buy as a project (just to cerakote)
I didnt have a shotgun and was thinking i needed something kind of tactical for home defense, so i looked around locally and saw a cheapo mossberg maverick, but i couldnt find the one that looked tactical but an online search produced the one that fit the bill, the mossberg 88 security model, basicly the same gun with 20 inch barrel with the full lenth mag tube.
i ordered the gun from buds and had it shipped to my lgs. so then what to put on it? i decided on the talon t2 grip with adjustable stock, very tacticool, also i ordered the heat shield for the mossberg 500 (not here yet) and magpul forward mount sling mount and the ms3 sling(not here yet) but i can show the gun in its current configuration.
