I originally wanted the two-tone sw1911sc e-series, but my lgs ran out. They did have the 5" stainless steel version in stock, so I settled for my 2nd choice. Recently my lgs began offering cerakoting, so I had the frame of my 1911 done to get that two-tone scandium frame look. It came out really nice!! So I just wanted to share..

I am not a fan of the two tone look, metal slide, black or other color frame. Usually makes me feel like really, couldn't you be bothered to finish the project? But if I had just stated that opinion and you whipped this thing out I would eat my words. That is a nice job, the rich wood tone on the grip possibly what pulls the whole thing together.

I love the two-tone look. I have been contemplating doing my 6946 in a two-tone as well. BTW, I also have an E Series 5" in stainless and I absolutely love it. A definitive tack-driver. I have every confidence that yours will be great too.
