After inquiries about the Hogue hand all grip, I decided to try something on my own to modify the grips on my M&P9fs. Not wanting to stipple the grips at this point, I tried a product called Gaffer Tape, used in the movie and photo industries. It is similar to duct tape, but more cloth like and does not leave any residue when removed. I placed in on the pebbled portion of the grip, the traced the outline with an razor knife, cutting lightly as not to leave any line on the gun itself. It worked very well, I have a comfortable, non abrasive but non slippery grip. Best part is I can change it or remove it with no alteration to the original grips. Gaffer tape can be purchased at just about any on line photo supply outlet. I used this on a BB gun clone of the M&P and its been on the gun for two years, but still come off clean.

grip

i buy a new bicycle tube and cut to length, adds tackyness to the grip but very little bulk, and cheap also, but you need stong fingers to get them on some double stack guns, single stack are easy.

I love the Houge part #17400 on my full size. About $12 shipped off ebay. It replaces the factory insert and feels to me about the size of the med insert. Either way I would never go back to the factory grip!
