The recent threads about Marijuana, Mercury in retrograde and shooting Haley's comet as it went over the moon has prompted great thought and pondering.
Ergo the following poll. Which type of Cheetos do you prefer-fried or baked.
Bear in mind there are only two types of Cheetos-original fried and original baked. Anything else is an aberration not worthy of comment.

Duh?!? What a no brainer.... Some of these pols: favorite gun, favorite John Wayne movie etc are just impossible to come of with the one answer. But when it comes to Cheetos it's gotta be fried! Remember as Chester Cheeta says, "It ain't easy bein' cheezy." ;)

I like this the best...

Yeah, I know...
It's Chester's, not Cheetos.

Cheeto mistake!

Last November in Nashville, the hungry Mrs Engineer went to the motel lobby for snack.

She bought the Cheetos -- the FLAMING HOT CHEETOS. After the fourth cheeto she was desparate to extinguish the flames in her mouth and throat.

I had warned her that the green Mtn Dew bottle with no label was filled with my favorite brand of really cheap whiskey.

She frantically threw open the ice filled cooler, grabbed the bottle on top, and took a big swallow to put out the fire in her mouth and throat. The swallow part was successful, but the big gulp of straight whiskey did not put the fire out. She was speechless for 30 seconds.

I keep reminding her to read the labels and asking if she ever listens to what I say. Maybe not so much.

Fried of course

Ever light one & see how long it will burn?

Used to be the #1 first ingredient was 'vegetable oil' (ingredients were listed in order of largest percentage first).

A few snack sized bags of Cheetos make an ideal addition for your survival kit. If not needed for fire starter, you can always munch 'em .

The puffed ones....

I used to love the puffed ones. All the Cheetos I've seen in the last 30 years have been denser, harder and crunchier. And whatever oil they cook them in makes my stomach burn.

What was it that I liked many years ago. Baked, Fried, something else???

Cheetos are rich in the two most important food groups: salt and grease, essential to the maintenance of weight and blood pressure.

That said, I can't overlook the time during Rally Week that my wife and I had stopped at the Coolidge Store on the way to the Custer Park Wildlife loop. (We were on one bike because on the trip out, she had holed a piston about 30 miles east of Watertown.) She went into the store for refreshments, while I stayed in the lot to have a smoke and ogle a sweet Laverda triple from Winnipeg.

When she came out, she had a couple of beers and a bag of pork rinds. I knew right then she was a keeper. I don't think even a bag of Cheetos would have had the same impact.

The puffy kind! Mix ketchup (has to be Heinz) and Tabasco (I prefer 60/40 ketchup) and dip your puffy Cheetos! That there's some good eatin!

I like those jalapeno Cheetos. Does anybody remember the bacon flavored Cheetos they put out around thirty years ago? Very tasty!
