I was shipping a few revolvers that need to go to C&R license holders. I must admit that was surprisingly difficult. Most of the FFL's I deal with either did not know if they could do it or just said no. I just wanted to say thanks to Cherry's. They know their stuff. I had them ship the revolver's for me and while I was there I managed to pick up a copy of Seven Serpents and get it autographed by Gurney Brown the author. Now if I ever decide to buy a colt I can at least know a little more. This is a awesome book. It is put together very well and for the simple minded man like me it is full of beautiful pictures of Colts , full of information. Thanks again to Cherry's! A+ all the way. BTW they sell Smith's as well ;-). I check their website daily.

They've had some gorgeous S&W's at times in the past, and always excellent photos of 'em. Prices seem fair too, based on the online auction comps. Greensboro, North Carolina.

Many years ago, I'm told Cherry's was one of the major Colt distributors and kept engraved Colts/grips for sale to dealers & customers and/or they would help a customer get one engraved to his specs...I've never seen a bad word said about them.

Many years ago I purchased several rare/simi rare Colts & S&W's from Cherrys. First Class people to deal with in every respect.

Thanks for the heads up. I am going to check their Web Site now, just for remembering old times, or ?????

Great place, great people and easy to deal with. Only problem is it takes a GPS, a road map, a search warrant and a seeing eye dog to find it.

Just call before you plan on going. I work out of Greensboro so I have the location memorized. Now as for Raleigh NC if I miss my exit I'm in for a loooong ride on the loop:-).

Sorry but I must disagree, it's actually surprisingly easy. Take
the revolvers to the post office in priority mail flat rate boxes,
answer the questions they ask you then close mouth, pay
and leave. Simple, safe and easy.

Got my Canadian Centennial edition 94 Winchester with the 26" barrel from them new in the box. They usually have a decent selection of the Winchester commoratives on hand. Love the rifle just hangs there due to the longer barrel. I bought it to shoot not to collect. Frank
