Child called 911 to hug LEO

A young child called 911. He wanted to give the LEO a hug. Made this old man tear up.

Years after I left LE I would encounter guys who I had no idea who they were. They would thank me for how I had effected their lives. Two were police officers and another had been in prison and now had a family and a great job.

My chest swolled up with pride like poisoned pup.

Good story but I think the officer could have put more into it for the child than he did.
