It breaks my heart, every time I hear of this happening? Is it carelessness or just plain stupidity? And I understand accidents happen. But come on! A child left in a car in 90 degree weather. Or even freezing weather, for that matter.
We started having kids when I was 20 and my wife was 19. And probably wasn't the best parents on earth. We were way way to young to have two kids at 21 and 20! But we knew where our kids where at all times. We never left them in a car. Never left them in a running car. Never forgot them anywhere. I would never even leave them in the car just to run in a store for a quick trip in! If they didn't go in with me, I didn't go. Period!
And what I think about every time I hear this happening is, there are so many childless couples that would LOVE to have a child or adopt one. And would cherish every moment of that child's life!
This just pisses me off! And sorry if I affended anyone! I just get so upset every time I hear of another senseless child's death, from being left in a hot car or on a bus in this kind'a weather.
A six month old was left in the fathers car and found dead in Texas today. The "father" was supposed to drop it off at daycare. And went to work. And "forgot"? He came back after his shift after leaving the child in 90+ degree weather all day and found the child unresponsive! Damn! How do you forget? Arrrrr!
Rant Over!
