It breaks my heart, every time I hear of this happening? Is it carelessness or just plain stupidity? And I understand accidents happen. But come on! A child left in a car in 90 degree weather. Or even freezing weather, for that matter.

We started having kids when I was 20 and my wife was 19. And probably wasn't the best parents on earth. We were way way to young to have two kids at 21 and 20! But we knew where our kids where at all times. We never left them in a car. Never left them in a running car. Never forgot them anywhere. I would never even leave them in the car just to run in a store for a quick trip in! If they didn't go in with me, I didn't go. Period!

And what I think about every time I hear this happening is, there are so many childless couples that would LOVE to have a child or adopt one. And would cherish every moment of that child's life!

This just pisses me off! And sorry if I affended anyone! I just get so upset every time I hear of another senseless child's death, from being left in a hot car or on a bus in this kind'a weather.

A six month old was left in the fathers car and found dead in Texas today. The "father" was supposed to drop it off at daycare. And went to work. And "forgot"? He came back after his shift after leaving the child in 90+ degree weather all day and found the child unresponsive! Damn! How do you forget? Arrrrr!

Rant Over!

Not just kids. Pets too. Not to take away from the severity of leaving kids in the car but it just seem that people got more Airheaded.....for lack of a better word. How can you forget you brought a living being with you? Be it dog or child

Last week my wife ran in the store & took her keys while I waited in the car. When she got back I told her you're not supposed to leave kids or dogs in a hot car but nobody cares about husbands.

We got left in cars all the time as kids, but the windows were all rolled down, and we weren't left there but for maybe 10 minutes.

Unfortunately today, that's an invitation for having a kid abducted, so idiot parents think A). I'll roll the windows up so no one can take them, and B). I'll take the keys because someone might steal the car or the kids might screw something up if I leave it running with the a/c on.

My own personal opinion is someone who does this should be taken to a crematorium and given the same treatment.

They are criminals!

Every self-absorbed egomaniac who is so in love with his/her self that they would 'forget' and leave a human being in a car to die should be criminally charged.

There is simply no excuse that works for me. None.

Be safe.

Friday night, actually Saturday morning at about 2:00 a.m.. A mother was charged here in Nashville for leaving two kids in the car. Both under the age of 8. While she was in a bar drinking. And came out after a policeman contacted her in the bar and was intoxcated and was charged with child endangerment and public intoxication. And who would have driven home, if she wasn't caught? The little children???

About 6 months ago, a lady was charged here in Nashville for leaving two small kids in a car. While her and a female friend went inside a local strip club and was auditioning for jobs. And she was on TV later, saying she did nothing wrong? She needed a job and couldn't find a babysitter! And I bet idiots on social media, agreed with her! I have an idea!!! Wait till you do have a babysitter!!!

What Is Wrong With These People??? If this behavior is politically correct, I want NO part of it. Is it the lack of being raised properly?? Or are people just that stupid now days??

With the numbers of just plain sicko's that wonder the streets now days, don't anyone else, but me worry about the welfare of their children or grandchildren?

Maybe it's just their way of life?

Stepping off my soap box now! Sermon Is Over!!!

In my opinion (yeah I know) there are more of these done on purpose than not. Some are stupidity, not educated, no common sense. I just don't believe that anyone can get in a car that has been shut and locked and feel the heat and can't make the connection that if I leave my kid in the car that's what they are going to be sitting in.

Assuming that these child deaths in hot cars are truly unintentional, I cannot imagine the mental anguish the responsible parents will be going through the rest of their lives. The incident last week here in San Antonio at the Wal-Mart parking lot is one of the most tragic events I can remember. No way I can understand how any father could "forget" his kid was in the car - all day.

I wonder if there is any correlation between children being accidentally left in cars and the requirement to put them in the back seat. It would be harder to forget if they are in the front seat. That requirement should go away since the passenger airbag can be turned off now.
