What is a chrome 29-2 pinned and recessed with wood grips that have a metal plate on the bottom of them worth? Looks almost new. He is asking $400.00 plus tax

Hopefully it's nickle plated as S&W didn't use chrome as a finish. What barrel length?

If it's a factory nickel finish a 4" or 6.5" barrel would be worth more than am 8 3/8" model but any of them are worth more than $400 even with the altered stocks.

The Stock for these guns aren't too hard to find but they aren't free and Targets aren't normally serial numbered to the gun so just a correct set would be fine as a replacement.

I seem to remember one of the members here looking for a set of these Stocks with the plate or just the plate not too long ago. They are kind of a Police 'thing' and weren't too common.
