so how would you rate this western? I think the only that makes it worth watching is Luciana Paluzza and that wasn't a very part

Chuka (film - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

Ive never seen it but it is on DvD. I like that Ernest Borgnine, James Whitmore Sr. and Sir John Mills are in it. Borgnine I think is the Sergeant, Mills is the officer.

It has a great cast, but ive not heard if its a good western or not?

I don't recall ever seeing that one!
And I have seen a bunch!
Ok , Ringo has seen more than me.
Where did you find this gem?

Im here, but havent seen this movie yet. It is on DvD and ive been thinking of getting it. One heck of a great cast though.

About half way through it- So far- the best line is-
'Wake me up when it's time to die.'
The Scout James Whitmore.
Just finished it.
It's predictable, but does have some unexpected 'hooks.'
Story is choppy and at times confusing.
If you can see it online for free, yes!
I wouldn't want to have to buy it to see it.

One would have thought that, with such a great cast, the film would have be terrific.

One would have been wrong. Mediocre at best.

Ive seen other movies with great casts--but also kinda lame. One that comes to mind is: The Private Lives of Elizabeth and Essex. Has: Errol Flynn, Olivia de Havilland, Alan Hale Sr. Bette Davis, and several other notables. Its about the Irish Rebellion-and the English Queen--shafting Flynn and his army--and such.

I admit I am not a fan of Davis but, boy she could act.

There was a scene where Elizabeth slaps Essex for real, and Flynns emotions of fury towards Davis--was the real deal. Even though the characters were lovers--the actors hated each others guts.
