The Single Action Shooting Society has a webpage sassnet.com and on it they have electronic versions of the "Cowboy Chronicle". They are downloadable or can be read online. The July 2024 issue has a lovely article on the history of the S&W No.3. It's a lead into the making of a replica model by Cimarron but the point of this post is to direct you to this Part One because of the in depth history of the S&W No. 3.
