Not sure if this is the right forum, but per this month's American Handgunner I noticed they have a website where you can download their back issues from 1976 - 1988. Go to AmericanHandgunner.com and scroll down to the bottom and click on "Classic Issues". Kind of like the wonderful library found in the GUNS magazine website. Not sure how much space I've got left on my Kindle for more old gun mags, but I aim to take a shot anyhow. I found a great review by Jeff Cooper of the brand new Stainless Steel Kit Gun - March/April 1979!

The exact url is: American Handgunner American Handgunner Classic Editions - American Handgunner

Guns magazine does it too - back to 1955. They run 50 years behind, rather than the 30 years of American Handgunner, so they're now up to 1969.

Some of the scans are better than others, especially the early years v. the later ones. I can attest that scanning is hard work.

Thank you, thank you to FMG.

Awesome! I stroll down firearms memory lane without having to re-buy all those magazines I threw away.

Thanks a lot! One if my faves and especially for S&W sixguns fans is the July/August 1981 issue. There’s Jerry Ahern’s article on his new Model 25-5, Al Pickles column “Redhawk VS. Model 29”, and one about a “Frank Fry” custom police carry Model 15.
