I always try to learn something from my mistakes. Back in 1981 or so, I locked myself out of my vehicle and since then I have always carried a spare key.
When I almost missed my nephew's wedding because my battery was dead, I bought a jumper battery. After several years, it will not hold a full charge so I bought a new one. I did a lot of research and purchased a Clore JNC660 'Jump-N-Carry from Amazon Amazon.com: Clore JNC660 'Jump-N-Carry' 1,700 Peak Amp 12-Volt Jump Starter: Automotive@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51FQF%2BamP1L.@@AMEPARAM@@51FQF%2BamP1L
Now this is a man's battery jumper. It will hold a charge for 3 months. It will jump several cars a day since it is a pro model. I believe you could jump start a 747 with this thing.
I carry it in my SUV all the time. You can recharge it with an extension cord instead of one of those little transformer type cords. They will even send you an email reminder to charge it.
I have saved the day, not only for myself, but for a few others that were stuck. Anyone else own one of these?
