I figure most of the upper eschelon chain of command will be replaced/retired out in short order.
Our military needs to focus on what its real purpose is and not some social experiment.
Some of the troops I have seen these days lack discipline and even bearing and that needs to change ASAP or it will cost us in coming conflicts.
 
The purpose of the military is to kill people and break things. It may not sound nice to say but our military has gotten away from its core mission and more into social engineering for the wrong reasons.

It's an accurate statement to say that we sleep soundly at night because there's rough men out there doing violence on our behalf.
 
I don't know much about why this person was promoted or fired.

But why don't all of you military and LEO people tell me how easy it is for a female to get promoted in either of these professions?

Your comments above should be clear enough to indicate the difficulties to do so.

Then when you do the commentary is never that they earned it. I have known plenty of women in both professions that I would prefer to serve with, and under, than many men.

We all say military power suffers from recent things but you all realize we have to look back to the 1940s since a victory. I doubt it is the last 10 years or so that has caused that streak.

DEI, wokeness, and favoritism started long before recent administrations and was one of the reasons I retired in '91. Too much emphasis was being placed on not damaging wayward troops' self esteems. You chew some airman's butt and it brings tears to his eyes instead of determination to better himself, and you answered for it.
