Co-Witness Aimpoint Micro and MBUS

On the 15-22, we have a straight line looooong rail... I have both front and rear Magpul MBUS back up sights, and ordered an Aimpoint Micro for it. I am wondering, will the supplied-"mount" on it's own, give me an absolute co-witness with MBUS? They are really not too high, quite small IMHO, and although I understand the factory Aimpoint won't even be useful for my Bushmaster cause of the height and front site base etc....but on the 15-22, I'm thinking it will be exactly right or at the very least some sort of MBUS Co-witness, no extra mount necessary , right?

Any Aimpoint (Spec. Micro but all can comment sure) users care to chime in on their experiences of an Aimpoint on the 15-22>

Your Bushmaster and 15-22 will require the same riser for co-witness. Either absolute or lower 1/3.

I just picked up the micro R-1 from midway for half price and received it today. This weekend it has plans to meet up with the rattle can turn turn in matte black so forgive the silver look.

Anyways, you do not care about that, but here are a couple quick pics from my phone as I did not feel like pulling out my camera. As Phil stated, you will need a riser mount to use this with any kind of back up sights. Even without back up sights it would be difficult to use cause it is so low to the rail.

and CP I got a Daniel Defense tall mount coming for the Bushmaster , just didnt buy another when I bought another Aimpoint today.
