I think I have more chance of growing wings and flying than the Army ever adopting that rifle and cartridge.

Expanding on my comment...
Some joker is sure to ask "Where's the bayonet lug?" The next issue is can they prevent the vertical stringing that plagued the Johnson design that also had a recoiling barrel. Their 1 MOA claim suggests they have, but you have to wonder.

The same I felt about the umpteen other "replacements" proposed over the last 50 years -- "Ain't gonna happen."
