Gonzaga is a local team for me, so I guess I would root for them.
Not that I really care either way. Won't make a whit of difference in my life no matter who wins - or even if they decided not to play the last game...

I look forward to seeing Gonzaga's center Karnowski who is 7 feet tall and 300 pounds go against UNC's center Meeks who is 6 foot 10 and 275 pounds! That is 2 BIG men!

Those were a couple of good games tonight. I even got Conchita to sit still through most of Oregon/NC State. I have no dog in this fight, but I guess I am feeling a mild inclination toward Gonzaga. Oregon didn't seem to have an answer for Meeks, but Gonzaga's two big guys look like they can take up a lot of room.
I would like to see the Zags take it, but it is hard (and probably dumb)
to bet against NC.

Gonzaga is about 3 hours from where I live so go Zags. If they show up to play it should be a pretty easy game for Gonzaga. But you just don't know what team is going to show up on Monday.

This is the Tar Heels' Redemption Tour, after last year's loss in the final four seconds of the game, which was the best NCAA final ever.

Being a Clemson grad, I probably should pull for UNC, since they are in the ACC (having National Champs in both football and basketball in the same conference would be good for the ACC). But, I am a Clemson fan and not an ACC fan, as I have argued with some of you SEC guys. Clemson recruits against UNC, not Gonzaga.
BTW, as a Clemson alum, I realize UNC is our "daddy" in basketball!!!

Well, congrats to the Heels!
I enjoyed the game. In fact, I enjoyed the whole tournament.
Now, on to baseball and, before long, the highlight of my sports year: The Little League World Series playoffs.
